This manual introduces students to the next group of fundamental exercises of a dual suspension exercise system, including Pilates based exercises as well as inverted exercises. (less than 15%). The fully illustrated manual breaks down the exercises so that execution, progressions, regressions and modifications are clear. Target muscles are highlighted and divided between mobilizers and stabilizers. Exercises in SilkSuspension™ Fundamentals II cover supine, prone, side-lying, kneeling and standing positions, and also include a Pilates repertoire as well as inversions and full suspension exercises. Exercises target core strength, inner joint stability, proper biomechanics, balance, flexibility and coordination. We HIGHLY recommend viewing the Suspension Exercise workouts on the site (especially the set up and safety video) as a great companion to the manual. With the manual, students will be ready to incorporate basic suspension exercises into their practice and teach group classes or privates. In total, over 50 exercises (including regressions and progressions) are taught.
