Spine Stretch Forward is an original Pilates exercise that increases the flexibility of the spine and tones the abdominal muscles. The key to performing this exercise correctly is to focus on flexing the spine evenly and NOT on stretching the hamstrings, though you may feel a slight stretch in the hamstrings.
